Edit: 06.29.07. I recently tried to embed certain fonts onto my website. It appeared to work on my laptop, however, on my desktop, it didn’t appear at all. I was wondering if you guys could leave me comments tell me what font you see for the “Frequencies” theme headers. The font should be a cursive kind of font. If not, if it’s plain could you guys let me know. Much thanks :).
Edit. I finally fixed my wordpress theme problem. I just switched plugins and switched a few links around :D. But thank you Yasmine for your help :heart:. I fixed most of the pages for the most part, but there’s still much to do. I’ll be updating soon!
So after two full weeks of training, including on the job training, I’m officially done. Or not. I say that because from time to time there will be classes to keep employees up to date with the curriculum, changes in policies, etc. I’m definitely looking forward to that (kidding). I finally got a relaxation day, except, my niece got sick and my baby sister decided she wasn’t going to babysit her while my other sister goes to work. So guess who was next up for the job? ME. I felt angry. I could have said no, but that’s my niece, she was sick and I love her, so I did it anyway. I was up since 9 a.m. That’s definitely not my idea of having a good weekend but, whatever. I have a relaxation week coming up soon as the children leave for the summer and the transition is made to bring children in for the summer. There will be a week vacation. That’s cool. It’s too damn hot anyway.
Is it me or does almost every man online have this behavior problem where they feel like they need to be disrespectful and type any way that they feel to females? I’ve been witnessing this and the women just take it like it’s nothing. Obviously, these men lack home training, either that or, they feel like coming online just to insult women is a release from their everyday lives, in which their mother doesn’t tolerate the bullshit. I think it’s the latter. Definitely. That’s exactly why most of them are online looking for love because in the real world, there aren’t many women who would put up with such nonsense. Seriously. I guess what it all boils down to is them having some type of power issue, where they feel powerful typing to a woman in a disrespectful manner because for one, the woman can’t really do anything, and for two, for some odd reason, a lot of women online have a low self-esteem. Maybe that would explain why they seek all kinds of attention from these online losers, for some type of approval. Now we all know that men have the tendency to also boost egos online by over-complimenting and shit like that. The thing is, I receive that all the time, and it gets very sickening and it’s disgusting to say the least. Is that the new game these days? If so, I don’t want to play.
I’m currently working on this site, a little bit at a time. I realized that my links were broken because I had wordpress setup through permalinks and all of my subpages were in directories, which was causing webpage errors because the two were conflicting. Hopefully, I’ll have all the kinks worked out soon and a new layout to go with it. I’m really thinking about reinstalling wordpress because I have things all over the place and I can’t focus when I’m trying to edit things. I may just take the time and go through everything and delete what I don’t need.
This weather has been wacky, yet again. Many children are getting sick from the back and forthness between hot and cold. My sisters friend came in the other day and complained about neck cramping and backaches. Oddly, I’ve been having the same thing. Then I found out that extreme changes in weather can cause muscle aching and things of that sort. My sister has been experiencing it as well. My son just got over being sick, then my niece got sick with the same symptoms. This weather truly freaks me out.

the only reason men speak to females disrespectfully online is one, females allow them to, and two they would never have the balls to say half the things they do online to their face. thats why 98% of the messages & comments i get on myspace from males are ignored and/or deleted lol

Before you install the new wordpress, make a XML backup file of this wordpress that way you can reinstall your posts and etc.
People act tough online period. I know plenty of men, including women, who come on here and create this new “facade” to either a) be feared or b) be sweated. You met them offline and they try to act that way for the first hour or so and then it all fades away. They promote so much in their bios/profiles that they “keep it real” and etc when they are really full of donkey shit. Especially the shit talkers. They know there’s nothing you can do because you’re on the computer. I talk shit online, offline, at church, at the strip club, parents/teacher conferences and etc. Why? Because I know I can back up my talk. I never lost a fight and most times, people are scared to take it to the next level with me.
I know you’re glad you got over that training. I know it was so slow for you.

Awww, Congrats on finishing your training, I know you’re happy. I honestly don’t understand the online love type thingy, it’s something that I know I wouldn’t wanna get involved in because dudes are just disrespectful online today. Some are sweethearts but that could just be a front, so I stray away from that but some are good advice givers and you can talk to them about some things. But that’s about it. I’ve noticed alot of peole have been getting sick lately due to the weather and this is the worse season to get a cold. Hopefully everyone gets better and be careful upgrading your WP.

My job training wont be over until another 3-4 weeks. wtf I envy you. At least i still get payed for all of this.
I dont deal with some of these men online, especially on CS or MS…half of them is putting up a big front. They try to be smarter than they really are to be more popular. The popular crap is so over-rated.

I’ve gotten some weird/sick comments and e-mails from guys in my day. It’s like they think the internet is a playground to insult women just because they’ve had bad experiences with them. One guy thought at some point that I was an online cyber cam girl or something, yet I had no nude pictures anywhere nor have I ever. Some people are just gross.

Yeah… even the so called “intellectual” males seem to refer to women most often as b*tches, broads, wh*res, etc… I usually contact them asking “why they use those terms, when they know they wouldn’t dare say that to a random woman in real life”. I usually get no response, or a frantic change of subject lol.
Unfortunately, it seems most women (and men) think “any attention is good attention”. I’ve seen females be disrespected, “roasted”, and exposed. They don’t care, as long as you spell their screenname right. Sad right, lol?
I find myself guilty of over-complimenting sometimes lol, but it’s all in fun. Not the I-know-you’re-ugly-but-I’ll-gas-you-to-get-some motive a lot of (mainly) men have.
Deleting all the unnecessary stuff will probably make updating & finding errors a lot easier. Plus it will free up your storage lol.
& yeah… I know how that unstable can make you sick. I had that problem last year

I agree you with about the men thing, although not at all. I could meet online gentlemen, nice and respectful. I talk to few of them by today. They are rare, though. I wonder why men sometimes can’t stop themselves from saying something bad to woman. Ummmm… :down:
Weather here has been odd, too. Once it’s hot, another day - rainy. Hmmm… if that’s how the summer look, I won’t enjoy much time on the beach.

Sounds like your training went well! I hope the rest does too. Its exciting. I have heard that weather going from one extreme to the other can cause the flu and sickness, it’s happened to me too before I believe. I actually recently had the flu and am starting to get over it now. I like photography a lot too, that would be my second idea for a profession. I dreamt of being a wildlife photographer once and that ambition still stands, I think I might try doing that freelance at some stage if I can.

I don’t understand why WP set up with permalinks and your subpages in subdirectories wouldn’t work together. Mostly cause my site’s set up like that as well. :/ Unless your content is also WP-powered; that’d make sense. Good luck with all your plans on organizing and fixing around your site! :)
