Update, New Job.

Sorry for the lack of updates but I’ve been extremely busy getting everything together at my new job. I was recently hired at a company to be a Model Scout. It’s a great job so far with many benefits and opportunities. I was really happy when I got the job. Hopefully everything picks up for me. When I started telling my friends and family about the new job, they immediately asked me why I didn’t prefer to be a model. The truth of the matter is, I’ve always thought that modeling wasn’t the industry for me. I’ve given it some thought and I’ve decided to give it a try when I get the chance. I’ve had a lot of photographers contact me trying to set up photo shoots but I’ve been turning them down. I think I will broaden my horizons now. If it really turns out that it isn’t for me, then I won’t participate anymore. I know there’s a lot of money in the field, that is the tempting part lol. However, I always told myself that I’d work in a field that makes me comfortable and happy. If modeling doesn’t do that for me, then it’s something I won’t continue to persue.

I’ve also been sick because of this crazy fluctuating weather. One day it’s pretty warm, the next day it’s cold as hell or snowing. I feel a lot better now that I’ve been resting. Things are starting to look up a bit for me and I’m glad for that. Wish me the best of luck!

I’ve had a terrible designers block lately. That’s alright because I’ve been pretty busy anyone but you guys can still look forward to many changes on this website. If you have any questions to ask me, feel free to do so but please make sure you fill in the form correctly on the questions & answers page. I’ve been getting various blank emails from that form. I’ll try to update more if I can. It’s kind of hard to find the time right now. I despise going on hiatus, and I won’t. Just have patience with me. Take care & God Bless.

7. The first time I ever got a C on my report card I cried.
8. I didn’t make any friends in high school because I didnt think I fit in since I was from the city and most of the students were from the suburbs.
9. I was in a terrible car accident when I was 17 and almost lost my life.
10. Once in a while, my son calls me “Baby“.

Hmm Model Scout, sounds like a fun job. I always envision a greasy, old, white guy with sunglasses when I think Model Scout lol.
Why did you turn the photographers down before?

Wow, the layout is gorgeous. Simple, clean and neat. Model scouting sounds like a good job, i understand what you mean about the modelling industry though. I’ve never attempted to try and enter it, because i’m not in the right mindset. But i wish you all the best of luck with your new job.

I had a friend who was a model scout and it wasn’t as great as he thought. It may depend on the company you’re part of though. I just know that it was strictly off commission and if the “model” he gave his card to actually came into the office and joined. That was like the only way you see good revenue. So be careful with that hun.

I have a designers block lately too, I NEED to update my site badly, so I am going to but I need an idea to go with first, when I get that I will start work. I love designing but sometimes that inspiration isn’t enough.

I want to say Congratulations on getting the new job, it sounds terrific and you’re right, you’re better off doing something you enjoy doing, especially if the benefits and pay is good, thats a bonus. :)

I always wanted to be a model scout. It seemed like such a fun job. I just never knew how to go about inquiring for that jo. Do you get to travel?? I though you might have to with that type of job. Anyways, I know what you mean about the weather. I’m in Philly and we were having really mild weather almost all of December with tempertures at like 40-60 degrees. Then January rolled around and brought 10 degrees with it!! One day we were all rockin’ hoodies and being warm, then the next day we wearing subzero coats like we’re eskimoes or some shit!! *lmao* Its crazy. But lemme get outta her, I’m rambling. Dont be a stranger… :-p

Yeah, when i first had those cramps..i was so scared for it being a disease or something..since my dad died on cancer im realy scared when i feel something strange in my body, but i’ve heard its just a muscle that has moved a bit.. and yeah Stress can express itself in so manyy ways..like pains.. but it this time i had it so long..it started to freak me out..i had it for 4 days! but thankfully, its gone now..:) And yeah i also know that i have to relax and destress a little..thats why I’m staying home today..instead of going to school..just to relax..thanks for the advice..!

And ohh working in de modeling business? many people had asked me too..if i was interested.. but a lot of them don’t look realy professional to me..there are a lot of people who are trying to pull girls to them by telling them..its a nice job, you get paid well..blahblah..but then take you for prorstitute or something..thats why i look out for that..! But I’ve a colleague of mine..is modeling too..and he said you have to try it..this is a very good organisation..blahblah..he’s in Japan now..but when he comes back i might give it a try.. And i like the way you look into your live.. like.. i might give it a try..and when i doesn’t work out of i don’t like it.. I quit it.. Yeah..thats a good desicion.. I wish you all the luck in the modeling business..

Your new job sounds really cool. I’m currently trying to find a new career. It’s really confusing tho. I’m experienced in Reception / Administration but I know that I’m totally bored with that and would like to do something else. What that something else maybe is the confusing part, lol!

You definitely have an interesting job! It sounds fun. And you’re definitely gorgeous, so I think you should give modeling a shot. I noticed your short like me, so is it possible to model despite your height? Because I want to model as well, but I’ve worried that my short height would get in the way. Since you’re a modeling scout, I thought I’d ask you hehehe. Sorry!

Anyway, I think you have the right attitude about a career path. Its important to do whats comfortable for you =D

Congratulations on the new job! A model scout sounds like fun. I kind of want to be a model, for the money & cool clothes and stuff, but so much stress comes along with it, it kind of discourages me.

wow adding up becomes harder and harder every day. wow model scout is such an awesome job! i bet you will have a lot og benefits, plus networking is always the best thing to do!

i’ve had people asking me if i do modeling and ive done modeling for a hairstylist, but iwould never undress in front of a camera haha. good luck with the job and everything

I’ve been battling the flu for the longest. The change of weather is killing of here in New Jersey.

I know what you mean about fluctuating weather! One day it will be 65 degrees and the next it’s down to 15. It’s ridiculous!

Congrats on the new job. I feel you about not wanting to be a model. I went through modeling school and at the end of the day I realized it just wasn’t what I wanted at the time (or really ever) I didn’t like the industries negative affect on the females self acceptance.

The weather was crazy right? I remember in December one day it was 70+! Stay healthy and take care :)

I can relate to having a talent yet avoiding the field, but someone once told me that life has a way of bringing you in close proximity of the very things you want to avoid!
